The sidebar can be placed on either the left or right side of the Main Content box.

The sidebar can also be "turned off" so that it doesn't appear at all in the design.

MAIN CONTENT Box

This page demonstrates a typical layout generated by the BoldPlanet WPM. Five content boxes plus the page body behind them can be edited by the online program. In addition to changing the content of the five content boxes (that is, the words), you can also change their appearance:

• Background color -- in this design, the background color is white for all five boxes. The background color of the page body is silver.
• Text color -- in this design, the text color is black in all five boxes. Any or all of the boxes could feature a different text color.
• Font family -- in this design, a "sans serif" font is being used in four out of five boxes. The one exception is the SUB Head box, which employs a monospace font. You can also use a "serif" type font.
• Font size -- in this design, the font size of the MAIN Head is 3.6 em. An "em" is the default character box size for a particular font. The MAIN Head font is therefore 3.6 times the default font size. The font size in this MAIN CONTENT box is .95 em -- meaning that it is 95% of the default size.
• Text alignment -- in this design, the text is aligned to the left in all but the FOOTER where the text is centered. You can align the text to the left, right and center in all five boxes. It can also be justified in the MAIN CONTENT and SIDEBAR boxes.
• Borders -- in this design, all five boxes feature a solid black border that is 4 pixels thick. You can remove the borders by selecting "none" for the border style, or you can change the style to dashed, dotted or double. You can also edit border thickness and color.
• Links -- in this design, the only hyperlinks that appear are in the SIDEBAR. The text of each link is black on a white background, and is underlined. When you move the mouse over a link (the "hover" state), its text color changes to white and its background to purple; its underline disappears. All of these link attributes can be adjusted for links in the SIDEBAR and the MAIN CONTENT boxes.
