The first thing to do is generate a default web page. After you open the WPM*, look for one of the white-on-blue Submit the page buttons; there are four of them and they all do the same thing: send the current WPM* editor settings to a program that will render a web page on the fly.
So, click on one of the buttons to see what the basic, no-frills WPM* generated page looks like. (It's black and white with a menu sidebar on the left of the main page content.)
After you have gazed on the default page, use your web browser's Back button to return to the WPM* editor.
Now it's time to get down to business. Make a change. The first section of the editor is a good place to start. Go to 1. PAGE BODY STYLE and change the Background Color. The default is white; change it to orange, yellow, purple -- whatever color you like. Now, click on Submit the page to see the result of this one change. Now, return to the editor and make another change.
Try removing the menu sidebar. To do that, go to 4. SIDEBAR STYLE and change from the default Left to No sidebar. Click Submit the page to view the result. Now, return to the editor and change the sidebar's location to Right.
You can make scores of other design changes just as easily as that!
